We are truly facing an unprecedented situation. The COVID-19 pandemic is impacting all of our families, our businesses and our communities. During this time, we’d like to update our valued candidates and clients on how we’re approaching the situation at Integrated Staffing. First and foremost, our hearts go out to anyone who's been impacted by the virus.

We’d also like to thank health care and front line workers - they truly are heroes during this challenging time.

It is clear that the employment sector will be faced with uncertainty with the months ahead. As an essential services provider, Integrated Staffing has been able to keep valuable industries running by supplying them with reputable, hardworking employees. Industries we’re supporting right now with additional staff include, but are not limited to waste management, warehouse support and residential and commercial construction. As one of Atlantic Canada's most reliable staffing solutions providers, new and existing companies have reached out to us during these difficult times and put their trust in us with their staffing needs - a commitment we take seriously. We take pride in our role ensuring essential goods and services continue to be available for everyone.

Behind each essential business are essential employees, and we believe our candidates are truly making a difference.

Right now, all of our offices are closed to the public and staff are working from home. While we are still providing employment and staffing solutions, in-person meetings and consultations are unavailable at this time. We understand finding reputable employment can be challenging during the current climate, and we’re here to help. While COVID-19 has changed the way most employers operate, we continue to have positions available in essential sectors and we are more than happy to assist candidates on their next job search. As health risks are greater than ever, we are following government guidelines to protect candidates from potential exposure to the virus.

Integrated Staffing closely follows a mandatory questionnaire with every candidate before we send them to a job site - no exceptions.

Before each individual candidate enters a work site, they are required to answer the questionnaire as conditions can change day by day. Depending on the employee’s answers, the Integrated Staffing team makes an informed decision whether or not to place them on assignment. If there is any indication an employee has been exposed to the virus, they are automatically noted in our system and will not be placed on assignment for at least 14 days where we will reevaluate them at that time. This process helps our clients protect their business and internal employees as any candidate who shows symptoms is not permitted to go to the job site. As always, our clients’ and candidates' safety and success remains our top priority. For many of our clients, COVID-19 has resulted in unseen challenges, reassessment of current practices and the reinvention of activities. It has also resulted in labour changes and shortages. As we continue to navigate through the pandemic, we’ll soon be announcing some new HR services designed to help clients lead their company through this new landscape. As the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 continues, it’s important to remember we’re all in this together. This moment reminds us that we’re all connected like never before. We’re called upon to be our best selves, with patience, understanding and compassion.

ON BEHALF OF ALL OF US AT INTEGRATED STAFFING, WE’RE COMMITTED TO BEING YOUR PARTNER AND PERSEVERING TOGETHER IN ALL THE DAYS AND YEARS AHEAD.
